The NEW A/SP Technology Roadmap reflects the collective priorities of the steel industry, shaped through input gathered from both A/SP members and non-member stakeholders across the automotive and steel sectors. It organizes these priorities into six pillars spanning materials, modeling, joining, forming, design, and crosscutting themes, translating broad industry input into a clear set of actionable technology topics. As a living document, it will continue to evolve as the industry’s needs and priorities develop.
This collaborative, pre-competitive effort brought together diverse perspectives from across the steel and automotive industries to share technology needs that no single organization could identify or address alone. By capturing this collective input, the roadmap directly guides A/SP’s future direction, ensuring we invest our efforts where the industry needs it most.
This RoadMap stands as a living reflection of where the industry is headed and A/SP’s commitment to leading the way there.
