A presentation given by Curt Horvath, General Motors Company, and Eric Batt, ArcelorMittal USA, at the 2017 Great Designs in Steel. Project goals were to develop a test method for ranking the relative susceptibility of zinc-coated AHSS and UHSS to hydrogen-assisted cracking and to avoid the most common concerns with existing tests.
